SPDs

Just seen a video where the SPD company - that's the name - state that their units are fine to use with any brand of consumer unit. Reason? Because SPDs are passive components.

This was at last week's ELEX show. The guy on the Hager stand next door was not best pleased to hear it!

    I'm sure they were a bit hacked off about it however surely it all comes down to how much room is available in the unit after all if the spd is say 3 ins tall and you've only got say 1 inch spare space it ain't gonna fit
