Wylex 100A dp isolators in plastic enclosures.

Just wondered  why these are not classed as "similar switchgear" to consumer units etc which are supposed to be in

non flammable enclosures in domestics.

    I don't know.


    As a guess I would expect The cage clamp type main switch with the SPD connected with some spade crimps behind the terminal screws in the slots in front of the cable terminals, as that is how Hager fit their SPD devices when you buy a preassembled consumer unit, rather than stuffing the SPD cables into a terminal with the tails.


    The codes printed on the switches in adverts may be misleading and not actually what you get.
