  • This is more of an observation exercise

    330 tonnes

    to generate electricity.

    100m long

14 Axels of 4 wheels each

    330 tonnes.

Why the same question more than once?

  • mapj1:

14 Axels of 4 wheels each

Yes, but that's only half of it and ignores the tractor.

330 tonnes divided by the load-bearing 112 wheels = 3 tonnes per wheel, which is comparable with an ordinary HGV.

  • mapj1:

    . . . 14 Axels of 4 wheels each . .

On some of the trailers the axles are individually steerable.

Why the same question more than once?

To that very logical and sensible question I find that I can not formulate a sensible answer at present.

  • Ref. Q.2. A fuller answer would be: "It steps in to boost supplies when renewable energy sources like wind or solar need help to meet demand."

Regarding the transport behicle, does it have steering wheels?

  • Zoomup:

Regarding the transport behicle, does it have steering wheels?

Probably one - right in front of the driver. However, like trains, there might be a cab at the other end. ?

ETA: Yes I do know that trains don't have steering wheels. ?
