New IET Electrical Website

Hi All


Have you seen the new IET Electrical website at https://electrical.theiet.org/?


It's been updated to reflect the IET's new branding.

    It's a bit like the Automobile Association, their "ideal" website would have been www.AA.whatever, but the .com and the .co.uk were both grabbed by American Airlines and www.aa.org by Alcoholics Anonymous  and www.aa.org.uk resolves to my ISP Andrews & Arnold.


    However www.iet.uk is available, if they are quick!


    RE www.iet.org resolving to www.theiet.org there is no reason why the forwarding or redirecting cannot be set up so that www.iet.org not only shows the website, but iet.org is shown in the address bar. (I do that with one of my website, so no reason why the IET cannot do similar if they wish.
