    I'm not surprised plumbers have been getting confused - and I now have some sympathy for them. The other day, for my sins, I had to install a new stainless steel kitchen sink. The instructions on the packaging said:

    Who writes this drivel? Isn't it about time the IET made an effort to better educate those institutions that represent other trades and the manufacturers of their equipment?


    What was this? Fleabay new old stock from the era of the 15th Edn? I hardly think that we can blame IET for describing a kitchen sink as an "appliance".
