Wiring diagram

Anyone out there with a great mind for heating systems, care to draw me a wiring diagram ?

There is a

-warm flow oil boiler

-Immersion

-pipe stat

-UFH Valve

-Manifold(8 zones)

-Hot water valve

-Hot water circulation

-Towel warmer valve (stat is what’s on the towel rail)

-Upstairs heating valve

-2 x 2 channel Honeywell programmer

-1x 1 channel Honeywell programmer

-1x stat for upstairs radiators

-stat for each ufh zone

Any advice on what I can use to get this all linked together, currently looking at S plan but I feel someone with experience with similar system  may give some better guidance

  • I presume that the "immersion" is a type fitted into a copper cylinder to heat the water in it. It will need a 16 Amp supply and a local 20 Amp double pole isolating switch (with neon indicator is good). Its removable thermostat will be inside it and is an adjustable long rod type contained in a special pocket. It is connected by heat resisting flex.

. . . An alternative approach is to have the towel rail on the heating circuit, but no TRV. You wouldn't want them all to close, would you?

It is usual to have a bypass to protect the system if all valves close before the pump / boiler has stopped. This could be either a mechanical bypass, or a radiator used as a bypass, often either in the bathroom or a wet-type towel rail.
