Laser Level

Hi all,

Has anyone used the Magnusson self leveling cross line laser and tripod, available from Screwfix. The laser looks a cheap and cheerful one, and the saying goes you buy cheap, you pay dear, but if it does the job and doesn't fall apart at the slightest knock, happy days.

Cheers

  • No, not the laser level, but I did buy their inspection camera. Sad to report, but it was utterly useless and I returned it.

Generally, kit is cheap for a reason. Some Aldi and Lidl stuff being the exception.

A while ago I purchased some double usb sockets from Aldi when on special at £4.99 each , quite impressed with them to be honest

also picked up a set of vde screwdrivers for £4.99 and again are okay quality, 8 screwdrivers in total.

how they make money on those prices is what I want to know...

  • I have to say that I cannot get on with laser levels - I tried one but kept getting in the way of the beam when up the ladder to mark out downlight positions.

I stick to my old failthful chalk line!
