What is application of Load-Switch + Disconnector?

Load-Switch is using for isolating loads. Disconnector is using for isolating supply. Between loads and supply, there is protection devices (fuses, MCCBs, ...). So we have first 1- supply, then 2- Disconnector, then 3- Protection devices, then 4- Load-Switch and then 5- Loads.

What is application of Load-Switch + Disconnector? then where is protection devices?

A load switch may be an isolator, but it may just be a switch that turns a load on and off- like a light switch does not normally have the ability to be locked off, or a guaranteed contact gap. A disconnector is also a type of switch, but one that is not guaranteed to survive if you try to  open it while full current is flowing.

a Load-Switch + Disconnector may just be one device that meets  the requirements of all the different classes of device.

Perhaps this article   may help explain the differeences.

Really thanks for replying. I have read that article before asking. Thanks for referencing. I asked also about position of protection devices in this case (using Load Switch Disconnector). When we use load switch and disconnector, seperately, these protection devices (like fuse) position is between load switch and disconnector. what is position of protection devices in this case (using Load Switch Disconnector in combination mode)?
