That Bloke was an Early Electrical Pioneer.

He died on 4th December 1798 and was known for his messing about with electricity and frogs legs. An early sensitive electrical measuring instrument was named after him. He was quite clever and well educated, and had much support in his work from his wife, but women were unfortunately not  allowed to attract fame back then. Hid name slips my mind.
