  • Always was as far as I can tell. The building industry even have a word for it - snagging.


    When I was young, there was a saying - Never move into a new house unless you've built it yourself. Doesn't seem that things have changed.

  • I shared the snagging inspection on our extension 20 years ago (with the architects assistant) and it is a visual inspection so unlikely to pick up electrical faults which need test equipment to identify. That said, the photographs of the house shown in the article indicate the snagging inspection was either not done or the person who did it was visually impaired......
