S'fix Visit Today.

The famous supplier of plumbing, electrical and D.I.Y. stuff has removed all of its laminated catalogues that were previously on display, and some staff are wearing those sweaty black plastic gloves. Also the short pencils are no more. Also there is a one metre distance rule being enforced.

  • On a positive note I am hearing that the closed London City airport is to reopen as RAF Nightingale to serve the nearby converted Xcel centre to the Nightingale hospital. I have flown in and out of London City on Flybe and BA and they are very steep climb outs and descents. Flying around the Shard at night is spectacular. Landing a C17 Globemaster or Hercules is going to be a bum clenching. Chinooks will be easy peasy.
