This is my first post so be kind...:-)
I was wondering if anyone new of a couple of e-courses that could be completed on line.
I need a good course to cover electrical safety training (general) for field technicians working to have an awareness of electrics ( we have in house training for this but its not suitable for home study just yet and I need something quickly to keep guys busy with the current climate and everyone having to be at home for next few weeks) maybe. The guys only bolt down plug in 13A and rarely do basic service work on vending equipt (replacing broken mechanical parts (dead working only).
Also I'm looking for a course in the use of multimeters for fault finding, but not to the extent of electrical installation and wiring regs etc, this is for basic checking of continuity and under 50V and resistance checks etc. no current. I've googled to my eyes are square but not really found much apart from car electrics, not what I need. There are many technicians out there. White goods and basic parts fitting, not running anyone down or not trying to anyway, just our guys only need basic but good understanding of tracing some wiring and knowing what the meter readings are telling them.
How do they learn to use a meter nowa days... clean answers only to that one pls
Your comments greatly appreciated, stay well.
Oh and if there is a better place for this post accept my apologies, do please direct me and i'll move it. I put it here as I thought you guys would have the experience I'm looking for.
Stay well,
Paul
