The 2nd bit I translate as "Where is Quiz", but the first question I find ambiguous. By 'wire fuses' I guess you mean rewireable fuses (cartridge fuses often have a wire within the cartridge of course) - cartridge fuses certainly have some advantages of rewirables - e.g. larger breaking capacity, lower fusing factor (close rather than course in old money), and reduced risk of replacement with something with a higher rating - but on the other hand rewirables are far less expensive to 'mend', easier to diagnose blown or not by eye, and if you still have a bit of card wrapped with three types of fusewire, but no spare cartridge of the correct rating, rewirables can be more convenient too.
