Reconditioned coin meter, mcb before or after?

Will be fitting a 60A coin meter for a 20/32A supply to greenhouses and thought it safer

to supply the meter from a garage unit rather than come off the mains isolator switch/henly block

with16/25mm tails into the meter and then into the garage unit. The meter is double insulated. Thanks for any advice.

  • The greenhouse will be TT,d locally, supplied by an overhead swa.The supply is tns. This will be a sub meter adjacent to the suppliers meter.

I was going to fit the meter after the mcb/rcd to avoid an extra switch fuse upstream, but noticed an existing coin meter was wired straight

from the henley block, which did,nt seem correct.
