Downlight spacer for more headroom

Hi guys.  I need to install some downlights but don't have enough space in the void above.  The lights that were there before had a white spacer slightly larger than the lights that lowered them by about an inch from the ceiling so creating a bit more headroom.   Does anyone know what they are called or where i could source them please. going round in circles on google. They are eyeballs so needs a 90mm hole in it.    Cheers.   Gary

  • Do you already have the downlights  ?  Surface mounting downlight exist, but not many swivel ones. (example) another  (example)

Many makes of a adaptor plates for covering large holes with a smaller lights but they are normally flat but this is not what you want , like this  I think,.

Is there scope for getting a tame chippy or someone with a woodworking lathe to turn something  if it is only a few.?
