Non-Commodity Charges

I was not expecting to receive 2020.10.05 - SSE Non-Commodity Charges.pdf for our village hall electricity supply. Whether all suppliers have this ability to increase these charges when you have a fixed price n-year contract, I don't know.

  • As I read it, the price of the electricity is fixed, but the price of delivering it to you is not. Because usage has gone down, the cost of infrastructure per kWh has risen and that is what they are passing on.
