I was not expecting to receive 2020.10.05 - SSE Non-Commodity Charges.pdf for our village hall electricity supply. Whether all suppliers have this ability to increase these charges when you have a fixed price n-year contract, I don't know.

I think that we are in the second year of a 4-year contract for both electricity and gas. This notification is just for electricity, so will be interesting whether we receive a similar letter for the gas supply based on the same argument.
