Can you overload a lighting circuit

My question is if you’ve got a lighting circuit and you ad addition loads to the circuit will this always trip the breaker if you add too much load on a circuit?

  • The use of DMX led lighting for theatres probably makes using 13A plugs a good idea, and they are considerably cheaper than alternatives. These fittings just need mains power and a DMX control cable which is looped through, so it maakes sense to do the same with the mains and 2 socket extension leads between fixtures. The most expensive part is often Neutric mains connectors on the fixtures themselves.
