EICR code - VIR Meter Tails

Thank you for all your help with my previous topic.

Just a quick one this time.

There is a new (or relatively new) plastic 3 ph service head.

From this there are VIR tails (in metal trunking) to the main isolator, and VIR from there to the main BBC.

After the BBC all in plastic insulation.

What, if any, code would this need?

    All depends on what condition they're in.


    I've pulled out some rubber cables that were still perfectly serviceable. Others have crumbled to dust as soon as you look at them.

    I've made sure I haven't looked at them too hard.

    The EICR is for a new rental and has been asked for by the insurance company.

    My view is a C3 and let the insurance Co. make the decision.

    I'm guessing that the switch gear will be full of asbestos too. Luckily I'm too old to be swinging screwdrivers about in anger now. :-)
