Stuffing gland and swa

Is it okay to use stuffing gland with swa as long as as the armour is earthed at the supply end?

    Thanks guys yep you’re probably right. I think they must have replaced the valve and not thought about it’s termination. They decided to terminate it using swa and some sort of reducer with a plastic nut. All I can do is make good of what is there ?
