Stuffing gland and swa

Is it okay to use stuffing gland with swa as long as as the armour is earthed at the supply end?

    OMS The way the valve comes it’s got inserts for the plastic nut to fit so the armoured brass nut won’t be able to be terminated to the valve body properly.
