Has anyone heard about problems in the supply chain of OCPDs by manufacturers? I heard today, in my local wholesalers, there are massive delays in getting containers into the country, such that some distributors/manufacturers are finding it difficult to fulfill existing orders and are not taking on new orders.
We aren't alone. I enquired about when a first fix job i did in September might be ready to second fix. Just so i don't over commit to other stuff before Christmas. They have been waiting for the back doors for 8 weeks and now can't get them until at least mid January so it hasn't even been plaster boarded yet . :(
Perhaps it might be a good idea to have products made in the UK?

It's like my iPhone - designed in California, made in China. The business model was that we brainy Europeans and Americans designed things and then got them made cheaply elsewhere. The real problem is when the new manufacturers learn design. Huawei 'phone anybody? ?
