Central Heating Wiring.

I don't do central heating systems very often so I have become a bit rusty on the wiring arrangements. When searching for tutorials I came across this one about a Wago j/b system

  • Overall I think I agree with the reviewer - it's a bit tight and the connection configuration isn't that well thought out.


    Would like to see the same set of stuff wired into the Honeywell box as a comparison though - that would potentially be a bit fiddlier for getting multiple conductors in single terminals and guaranteeing good connections though. I have wired a couple of those up in my time adn they do work OK.


    Looks like an example of an innovation not quite solving the problem it set out to fix. 


    May work better with Y-plan, but I have never understood 3-position valves!!
