Central Heating Wiring.

I don't do central heating systems very often so I have become a bit rusty on the wiring arrangements. When searching for tutorials I came across this one about a Wago j/b system

  • Sounds like it was developed for the continental market - where I gather they only tend to run c.p.c.s where they're actually need rather than to (almost) every point regardless as we are required to do.

I must admit I've never tried these wiring centres - usually it's just whatever terminals I require in a PVC surface box with blanking plate on top (and a few stuffing glands if flexes have to exit at that point) - but then the few I've worked on somehow end up being not quite simple S- or Y- plan anyway.
