Schneider acti 9. They can provide a neutral bar adaption kit. Also can be configured for four pole device. There is a Schneider video on how to do it. I have no affiliation with Schneider.
First class Wessex, many thanks. For some reason the wholesalers we normally deal with claimed my requirements could not be met without a special. The boards apparently can also provide a means of dispensing with the blue and white leads on the RCBOs making for a very neat install. What I don’t like is that the necessary alterations to the board are not factory-fitted but I could see this coming in time as the merits of the Acti9 Isobar range become better known.
Thanks Alan. Happily I don’t do the installation work but when specifying I am always mindful of the poor critter who is. However, I much prefer alterations to be carried out by the manufacturer. That avoids or at least lessens the risk of incorrect assembly.
Yes I agree. The instructions are some what vague. I had a metering kit to fit to a meter ready board. The instructions mainly covered the setting up of the meter.
The range of boards don't readily seem to accept SPD installation, I wondered if you purchased the meter ready unit with extra cut out by the main switch, whether they could be fitted next to the main switch with the protective device above keeping the cable lengths short
The meters I've fitted had to be put into a new extended bottom portion, and I think they were the ones where the main switch was moved from the main DB body, into the bottom section with the meter. It was most confusing.
Then, the blanking plate was missing from where the old main switch was in the upper part. Apparently it is a special order part, that doesnt come with the metering kit.
I remember it well, as it was a Sunday when we had to fit the new DB, and it had to be finished before 5pm when the place shut down.
At 4pm, I was hunting in skips for something to fashion up to fill the large hole in the DB, so we could get away, a solid mousemat was found, a section of it cut out, and stuck into place until the correct part arrived a few days later.
