Using an LV meter to measure HV power

After some assistance, if I were to use a 1:1 delta/star tx on the VT's on a HV supply, would I be able to measure HV voltage and therefore power, no I cannot configure the meter for a delta connection. Any ideas if it would work ok, and at what effect on accuracy?

  • Also, if you do use a delta/star VT and you can't tell the meter that, then, although the voltages readings will have the correct magnitude (assume you set the correct reverse VT ratio in the meter) the power readings will be rubbish due to the 30 deg phase shift across a delta/star VT.
