I carry a set of 8 best quality insulated ones: 4 flat, 1 and 2 Pozi, 1 and 2 Phillips. Occasionally I use ordinary ones - for things like fixing back boxes to the wall. Like probably everybody, I have an electric screwdriver (with manual handle) which has numerous 1/4 hex bits.
I also carry a 1/4 Britool socket set. The 1/4 hex attachment can be very useful for getting into tight spaces. With a stumpy little auger, it can be very useful (but tedious) for drilling through joists in the most difficult places.
Things like my Yankee screwdriver haven't been used for years.
