How many screwdrivers does an electrician need? How long is a piece of string? It all depends upon what sort of work he is engaged in. A limited number if just house bashing. More if involved in machine installation and maintenance. Even more if involved in industrial work as well. Personally I have about 8, my most used is a CK amber coloured neon tester screwdriver. I do a lot of domestic work and it is great for terminals of sockets and fused connection units etc. I use a smaller Stanley screwdriver for light switch terminals.
You need as many as you need.
