PVC out, LSOH in?

Grapevine is full of rumours that the next amendment will preclude the use of conventional 70' rated PVC cables, inc twin and earth and that only Low Smoke LSOH cables will be permitted.

Anyone heard anything on this?

    If you have seen a plastic bath burning you would never allow anyone to use a candle in a bathroom and definitely not standing on the rim of the bath.
