PVC out, LSOH in?

Grapevine is full of rumours that the next amendment will preclude the use of conventional 70' rated PVC cables, inc twin and earth and that only Low Smoke LSOH cables will be permitted.

Anyone heard anything on this?

    Although you can boil water in an empty eggshell with a candle under it to produce a model steamship for fun.

    Or make a paper kettle/water bmb and boil water in it without burning the paper.


    Things we made as toys at little expense in pre IT days , ooh we had fun! ?
