Hi All, long story short:

Contractor A carries out EICR which returns an 'Unsatisfactory' report due to changes in regs.

Contractor B carries out the necessary upgrades.

Question is do I then need a new EICR or is the original along with certification for the upgrades acceptable?

There is no requirement for a new EICR. You only need written confirmation that the work has been carried out https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2020/312/part/2/made Part 2, 3 (5).
