514.12.1

Would it be a good idea to add the fact that the periodic inspection and test resulted in a PASS or FAIL on this label? Should it be redesigned to allow for this?

  • Easy enough in an EICR is satisfactory, but what if it isn't?

We generally don't require an EICR to be repeated once problems have been fixed. If the EICR said unsatisfactory, but later one or more certificates or other documentation subsequently addresses the issues raised in the EICR, what words should appear on the label and when? (bearing in mind the the subsequent documentation may be in several parts issued by differing people at different times)

Also would such a policy "hide" C3s and other recommendations?
