Cable entry metal consumer unit

Hi

Just a quick query. I have a metal consumer unit to fit and the cables will be entering from the rear. There aren’t many circuits so was planning on having them all entering through one large knockout in the rear. My question is, is it acceptable to have the supply tails entering through the same knockout as the circuit cables or do the supply tails have to enter through a separate hole/knockout?

thanks in advance

Yes, it is permissible to have all cables entering from the rear through the one opening. It can be a workout for the hands though, bending the modern 25mm2 stiff tails.
