Dimmers and humming Circuit Breakers

A couple of people have said they've had dimmers make their CB's hum. So what could be the cause and resolution, other than don't use dimmers?

    About fifteen years ago we discussed something very similar - before all this LED stuff took off.

    (now I feel old...)

    As an aside has anyone else tried  to dim the Osram (LEDvance) 'bulbs' that are supposed to dim and found they turn themselves off after about an hour, but then recover if you let them cool down ?
