sub metering

Hi,

It's me again. I'm looking at sub metering a largish installation, not for revenue. I know what I want but it seems surprisingly elusive.

I rather expected to be able to buy a set of CTs and a meter without a display etc that would sit inside a dis board or isolator etc, and connect via ethernet, either wired or wireless (perhaps) to a server on site where i can view real time data, and generate reports of where the energy is being used. I also thought id find a version with a pule input for water meters etc.

but so far, speaking to companies, I'm being offered modbus systems, which are ok, but need modbus converters, or full blown smart meter installs back to a central server somewhere. All these suggestions are thousands and thousands just for a handful of meters (I want about 30)

Has anyone come across something as simple as what I describe?

  • Thanks for that info, I had heard of LOWRA but thought it was Laura, so would never have found it.

The reason I wasn't keen on that was because it relies on a web platform, and therefore subscription, and a third party
