Hello,
It is my first contact with medical locations and I'm not sure about some stuff .
In the case of a medical facility which has only group 1 medical locations, such as different types of examination rooms, massage rooms, hydrotherapy rooms, physiotherapy rooms, etc.
Art. 710.415.2.1 of BS 7671 says that supplementary equipotential bonding shall be installed and supplementary bonding conductors should be connected to (i) Protective conductors.
I also read MEIGaN and Annex 1...
In these locations of the medical facility, we only have sockets feeded by TN-S circuits (there are no IPS sockets).
I would like to be sure that i didn't misunderstood: the above cited article implies that every socket outlet should be connected with the EBB by means of supplementary bonding conductors, I mean it refers not only to IPS sockets, but also to TN-S sockets, am I correct?
Thank you.
