Ex e Terminal Box - Gas group

Why there is no marking of the gas group on an Ex e Terminal box? For example, EEx e II T6   -- In this why no gas group marking such as IIA, IIB, or IIC?

    EEx e II T6 is marking from the old standards (biggest clue is the additional "E" in EEx)

    The II was taken to be suitable for IIA, IIB and IIC.

    Now it has to be stated specifically as IIA, IIB or IIC.
