Kelly there are still lots about in the Dorset countryside, also some of the the army camp houses at Blandford. Aeroflex fluvent was the trade name.

A local chemical plant had lots of Fluvent fuse boards, never seen them anywhere els

Thankyou both so they are not as rare as I thought then especially if there are still some out in there naturally habitat. TheAeroflex fluvent name was what was on this cutout

The company was  Parmiter, Hope and Sugden 

renamed when al the founders had died off after its most successful products as Fluvent Electric

in the 1970s GEC mopped up the fuse and switch gear parts , and soon after the rest of the company became part of  cableform  group and then the name vanishes
Cableform became part of  Graystone  who morphed part of the modern Ring group, who now mainly distribute and re-badge sell lights and stuff made by others,

there is no more original engineering in the UK.

These old advert are interesting  the lower one is almost tongue in cheek humorous can't imagine any modern company doing that now. They must of had a fairly big factory just to fit the name on!
