  • This cable was designed for EV applications. It comes in four variants. One has a single pair pilot, which is intended for the new brand of variable chargers, where a CT is placed round the phase conductor so the charger / vehicle can adapt its charge rate to the rating of the cutout fuse based on the house load, the other with a 4-pair CAT-5e cable within the sheath, intended for Ethernet plus power. Both of these cables are made in Hi-Tuff and SWA, giving the four types.
