Extractor Fan Switch.

I have just stumbled upon this. A fan isolator switch with integral fuse. Has anybody any experiences with these please. Any good?

  • No direct experience, but I expect that it would be fine.

The switch sees only infrequent use, for maintenance, so even a very cheap switch should last decades.

The load is minimal at a fraction of an amp so even a poor quality fuse holder, switch, and terminals would be fine.

If used many times a day for functional switching and loaded to a full 13 amps, I would be doubtful, but for a small fan it should be fine.
