Extractor Fan Switch.

I have just stumbled upon this. A fan isolator switch with integral fuse. Has anybody any experiences with these please. Any good?

I have been looking at in line duct fans that can be installed in lofts. They run quieter if loft installation is possible. I have installed many Manrose 4 inch (100mm) duct fans. They seem to be well made and reliable.  Recently I have seen adverts for Blauberg in line duct fans. I have bought a Turbo-E-100T for appraisal.  The blades turn very freely and the fan blades are large. I believe that the motors are German made. The cost is less than that of a Manrose fan of equal size. We shall see. Time will tell.  I have no connection with this company except as a customer.

I have used the vortice 4" in-line fan for many years.  A superb fan.  They also do not require a 3 amp fuse.    I screw it down with a bit of loft insulation between it and the timber to help stop any sound tracking through the timbers.  I have had one in my en-suite for 12 years and is used multiple times a day for quite a long time as my kids stay in there for ever it seems.

Yes I know Vortice. I have installed Vortice fans many years ago. I have not seen them advertised for some time/
