Over Sink Water Heater.

Redring WS7 7 Litre 3KW Oversink Water Heater WS73 5017084440016 | eBay

I installed one of these today for a customer. It is a vented water heater. Compact and well lagged. It is an improvement of the old arrangement with a large hot water cylinder some 20 metres away, so a loss of much water when waiting for the hot water to arrive at the kitchen sink.

This new water heater stores 7 litres of hot water and has an adjustable thermostat. It heats the water very quickly.

It does drip small drops as the water heats and expands, so loses water to the sink. But overall is a more efficient system than the old system.

Any thoughts?

  • Prefer under the sink but they are pretty efficient and robust for heating water.

  • Then there is this type in comparison.

  • It is lovely to know that your search engine of choice is Microsoft Bing, but you can embed a link to the video instead. When you have opened the result of your bing search to watch the video

click on the ‘youtube’ logo in lower right to view the video on yuotube as opposed to on a yuotube window in a bing window.

The URL will then be available - in this case “www.youtube.com/watch

Insert a link direct by clicking on the 13th icon across from the left in the ‘compose post’ editor, the one that looks like an arrow on tractor paper, probably an icon supposed to look like cine film , but drawn by someone who  never used it.

Then past in the URl and press the green tick. here it is….

  • I think Mike's suggesting it's better etiquette to post the URL of the video itself using the Insert Media button (rather than obliging everyone else to use your choice of search engine, with all the data harvesting that involves).

  • Going back to the original post, there a limited number of domestic customers who want that type of water heater in their kitchen, they are very dated.

    Oh! ?

I may lack good eyesight, and also a university education, and perhaps a weight lifter's physique, but what I do know is that  l am never discourteous, and am very offended by this suggestion.

  • Mike, I am not  Charles Babbage or Alan Turing. I am not a computer genius. I am an amateur computer user. I did not chose Bing it invaded my computer in a recent update and I use it. If my link that I quoted on this forum does not please you then do not use it. It is plain to see, and no deviousness is intended. Also if it is used then it  is not the end of the world. I do not know where or what most of the hidden buttons are for on this site. If I have to struggle to find them then I probably will not. I respect your knowledge and authority but please refrain from criticising my methods. This forum should be educational, free and fun as well as inviting.
