I am interested in comments from anyone on the youtube videos, there are several purporting to show EICR procedures. As most know I am currently researching this, and am collecting data.

    It’s fifty five years since the requirement for lighting circuits to be earthed was introduced in 1966, there is not a working electrician under the age of seventy who has installed a compliant lighting circuit without a CPC, but there’s still people arguing that those old lighting circuits are compliant because they were installed around sixty years ago.

    Just how long is the period that needs to elapse before people will accept change?
