I am interested in comments from anyone on the youtube videos, there are several purporting to show EICR procedures. As most know I am currently researching this, and am collecting data.

  • Ref. Artisan, video one. I like this electrician. He is very much like me, practical, down to earth, thorough and logical. He did a good job and I agree with his findings. He seems to be experienced.

As the property is to be let, R.C.D. protection is essential for all circuits. R.C.B.O.s will afford safe and reliable supplies.

If this was my home I would be happy to use the installation as it is. I would though eventually upgrade to an R.C.B.O. consumer unit.

I always take out the fuse from fused connection units that supply gas boilers to see if it is a 3 or 5 Amp fuse. I do not want to find a 13 Amp fuse.
