SWA Earthing

Hi All,

I'm currently Installing Cabling for a Hot Tub Instead of Running SWA all the way through the house, I have used 6mm T+E 10m to run from Consumer unit through the ceiling of the house.

Just before it enters outside I have then used a Junction box to connect this with SWA. As the SWA only starts 10m away from the Consumer unit will I need to run a separate earth cable for the armour back to source (Consumer unit)?

Thanks in advance.

6.00mm twin and earth, which has a 2.5mm cpc.( although some have 4.0mm)

Not that I'm aware of and be compliant, it is normally the 10 mm2 that people think has 6 mm2 but it is only 4 mm2.

    Regards
