Who pays for new home solar generated power ie Feed In Tariff

Do any suppliers pay FITs for new installations?

I can see from their website that SSE have discontinued the scheme, although will continue to pay FITs to those who signed up earlier.

    Without going into the nitty gritty I suppose you could directly feed the immersion heater with your 1.5Kw worth of solar and it would heat up more slowly than on the mains if that would be adequate. That way you`d avoid buying another 1.5Kw worth from the grid
