Why do people twist CPC's?

The latest video from “Doctor Electric” on YouTube has really annoyed me(titled "Best ZS Ever)!

What is it with these YouTube “Sparks” that they think they can just start up a channel and think they're god?

On this video Doctor Electric shows viewers how to twist the CPC's to get a better ZS!! UNBELIEVEABLE!!!

    I was taught to use SCREWITs many years before that (and I'm only 50).

    I was taught not to do it twenty years ago.

    Only just out of short pants then! But the funny thing is that old blokes tend to return to them. ?

    I have never used Screwits, but I see no reason to be prejudiced against them even if they are popular across the Atlantic.

    I have replaced many ceramic Screwits and have never found a bad joint made with one. Having said that I have never installed one or the modern ones.
