T.V. Wiring.

How do I connect a second t.v. to a sky box to watch different programmes to the first t.v. please?

  • Depends on the sky box. For SkyQ HDMI splitter and then use a HDMI sender over CAT6.

  • You generally need a box for each TV, with each box wired back to the LNB on the dish (assuming it's a Quad LNB or similar).  You can't just split the co-ax feed for satellite as there is some switching sent back up the cable from the box to the LNB to tell it which polarisation and signal band to send depending on your selected channel.  That needs to be done individually per box.

    It looks like they have some fancy wireless option available with SkyQ - This link may help:
