Electrical Materials Shortage.

Has anyone found it difficult to source materials?

I have just been to Tool Station and more than half of what I wanted to buy was out of stock, not just out of stock, but not even available from other Tool Station warehouses to be delivered to me.

Times is a gettin' desperate.

  • It's not just materials, but tradesmen. Step-daughter has had to wait about 4 months to get a spreader. It's not entirely their fault because the covid restrictions meant that the completion date for 1st fix electrics was uncertain, but they have a tendency to want to finish one step before booking the next one. Now they await the plumber to put the boiler in and once that's done, there is half a chance of completing the 'lectrics in the utility room.

They refuse to draw up an Gantt chart!
