BS546 round pin plugs withdrawal?

Seen elsewhere a post about BS546 being withdrawn - or being removed from BS7671. Has anyone heard anything?

BS546 are of course used for dimmer-controlled lighting in homes, widely used in 15A size in theatres (and 5A size were used in schools), and are used in I think South Africa and India as standard mains connectors.

    They're still in the DPC for AMD2 - so their removal from BS 7671 doesn't seem imminent. (Of course things can change between the DPC and the final version, but I would have thought this sort of thing would be in there if it were being planned).
